Highcross has let 6,000 sq ft at its Kembrey Business Park in Swindon to Travelport, the business services provider to the global travel industry.

The company, which has taken the office space at Cherry Orchard North on a five-year lease, is moving its Swindon-based airline billing centre to the park.

Travelport is a leading provider of critical transaction processing solutions to companies operating in the global travel industry, and has its UK headquarters in Langley, Berkshire.

Vice president HR, Carol Hawkins, said the company was looking for larger premises for its Swindon-based team: "Kembrey Business Park was able to offer the additional space required, good facilities for staff and customers, and a convenient location alongside similar technology focused businesses."

Bradley Forbes of Loveday and Loveday added: "Kembrey Business Park's excellent on-site facilities are a significant contributor to its continuing success in attracting companies looking for high quality office space. The park also has a wide range of light industrial and warehouse accommodation, and we are currently looking at a potential further phase of development on a two-acre site adjacent to the Kembrey Trade Centre, which is now fully occupied.  There are several other office suites under offer at present and we hope to be able to release more good news to the market in the very future.”

Loveday and Loveday advised Highcross and Travelport were advised by Richardson Commercial.  Keningtons were joint agents.
