National accountants and business advisers Baker Tilly have strengthened their presence into the North Wiltshire market with the acquisition of Bath-based accountancy firm Richardson Groves.
The move comes less than a year after Baker Tilly’s Bristol office merged with accountants Robson Taylor, also based Bath. Richardson Groves’ three partners and 22 staff will transfer to Baker Tilly’s Bath office over the coming weeks, doubling its size. They will continue to cover North and West Wiltshire from the office.
Baker Tilly said adding Richardson Groves to the business demonstrated its continuing commitment to clients and the business community in the region.
Richardson Groves has more than 25 years’ experience advising owner-managed businesses and high net worth private clients and its strategy fits well with Baker Tilly, which also has a strong reputation for advising listed companies, particularly on the AIM market.
