Local Saab dealership, Skurrays Saab in Swindon is celebrating the first anniversary of Saab’s rebirth as an independent company by inviting motorists to an exclusive event weekend.

Wednesday 23 February will mark exactly one year to the day that General Motors sold Saab Automobile to Spyker Cars NV of the Netherlands and from Friday 25 to Monday 28 February Skurrays Saab is inviting people across Swindon to join in the festivities. As part of the weekend the dealership will be offering free refreshments to all visitors and a range of incentives and promotions.

Colin Pulman, brand manager of Skurrays Saab said that Saab had come a long way in the last 12 months: “It has been exciting to watch the company grow as we’ve launched a series of new products including the all-new Saab 9-5 Saloon and the new 9-3 low emissions engines. We’ve got many loyal Saab customers in Swindon and we wanted to say thank you by giving them the opportunity to take advantage of some truly exclusive deals over Independence Weekend.”

Since becoming an independent company, Skurrays Saab has continued to go from strength-to-strength and is looking forward to launching various new products in 2011 including the new Saab 9-5 SportWagon and the Saab 9-4X, Saab’s first ever cross-over vehicle.
