National outplacement company Connect has selected Vox PR to handle its corporate profile raising campaign. Connect offers tailor-made services that are designed to help organisations provide support to their people when they face redundancy.
A specialist provider of outplacement services, the company provides executive and group outplacement programmes, which include personal one-to-one support for those facing career change, workshops and online tools and advice.
Phil Griffiths, director of Connect commented: “I have asked Vox to take over our PR brief because of their reputation for creative thinking and their experience of working with the regional and national media. Vox will be focusing on building our profile and helping us to promote the advantages which a good outplacement consultancy can bring to a company that is in the position of having to let people go.
”We felt that PR was a very important element of our marketing strategy because, with a service like ours, we need to inform potential customers not just that we are here but why what we do is important to them. Vox will be using a mix of traditional media relations, networking and online campaigns to deliver this.”
Julie Margerum, director of Vox, said: “We are delighted that Connect have asked us to help them with their PR. It is clear now that redundancy will be a major feature of the economic climate this year and outplacement firms like Connect can make the difference between a positive and negative outcome for both company and individual.”
