Experienced recruiter Caroline Maycock has joined the team at Swindon-based Field as part of the company’s growth ambitions.
Caroline, pictured, has worked for more than 20 years in the industry, including previously running her own recruitment business.
Her appointment of comes hot on the heels of the arrival of Lee Marner as Field’s new managing director.
Lee has taken the reins at Field and its two sister companies – VHO, which specialises in lead generation for the technology sector, and The Business Generation Group, which offers generalist telemarketing.
Lee said: “We are thrilled that Caroline has joined us. She has worked in recruitment in the town for more than 20 years, is hugely experienced, has fantastic connections and we know she will make a big difference in terms of helping us to grow the business.”
Caroline, who hails from Devizes, began her career working in accountancy services. When she was looking for a new challenge she was snapped up by a recruitment agency in Swindon. She left the sector briefly but moved back into it 20 years ago.
For nine years she ran her own business, but had to close it when the recession hit in 2009. Since then, she has been running a recruitment operation from a home office as well as working as European Social Fund manager for Swindon College.
Caroline, who has been taken on as a recruitment consultant, said: “Being in the sector, I knew Field by reputation and always said that if I went back into high street recruitment I’d like to work with them.
“I am really excited about this new move as I am ready for full-time recruitment work again, and this is just what I have been looking for.”
Field Recruitment, set up in Swindon more than 40 years ago, is a leading industrial, commercial and professional sector recruitment agency, placing permanent and temporary candidates.
