Swindon-based specialist software firm CMS SupaTrak has achieved the Investors in People standard in recognition of its commitment to its staff.
The firm, which employs 40 people at its headquarters on the Delta Office Park, builds software that helps improve driver behaviour, reduce accident rates, increase efficiency and cut operating costs.
Its products are widely used by customers across the UK and Europe in industries ranging from transport and logistics, to local authorities and waste management and include live GPS vehicle tracking, live-feed crash and safety cameras, vehicle telematics, in-cab driver and job management and driver coaching.
The firm, which was established in 1993, designs and produces its software in-house.
Investors in People is the UK’s leading accreditation for business improvement through people management. It provides a wealth of resources for businesses to innovate, improve and grow, with a focus on good people making great business.
CMS SupaTrak’s approach to staff development, inspiration and communication was highlighted as key strengths by Investors in People. Its report stated that “people believe that CMS SupaTrak is a great place to work”.
It went on to say: “They believe the organisation has inspiring leaders who encourage a culture of open and honest communication. The organisation strives to provide flexibility in its style of communicating with staff: one-to-ones, appraisals, meetings and operating an open door policy are key examples.
