Specialist learning and development agency RTS Group has strengthened its training team with three key appointments.
Stuart Rudd has joined the Chippenham-based firm as account director, Argi Frantzi has become senior learning and development consultant and Paul Hunt joins as leadership consultant, working with the Mazda dealership network.
RTS specialises in learning and development for the automotive sector, helping vehicle manufacturers develop their frontline dealership staff.
Before joining RTS, Stuart spent several years in learning and development, initially in technical training and latterly management training, working with global brands such as Jaguar Land Rover and Peugeot Citroen.
His career took him to the Caribbean and Central and South America, where he learned Spanish in order to deliver courses in the local language.
At RTS he will work primarily with clients Honda, Hyundai and Aston Martin, liaising with them to deliver a high level of learning and development support for their dealership teams.
In his new role Argi is working closely with clients to design programmes to suit their development needs.
Argi hales from Greece, where she worked with Apple, first in technical support, then moving into training.
When she relocated to the UK, she continued her career in training, initially staying with Apple. Most recently, she was an instructional designer with the VW group.
Since arriving at RTS, she has been developing courses and workshops for Toyota and Jaguar Land Rover.
She said: “I like to design material which is as interactive as possible, so use a lot of video for which I write scripts. People learn far more effectively by watching video than by relying on a manual.”
Paul’s role is delivering the Challengers@Mazda retail development programme to the Mazda dealership network, bringing his three key strengths of executive coaching, leadership development and change management.
His entire career has been in automotive but, as his parents ran both the village pub and the shop opposite, he says he has always been “in the people business”.
His roles have taken him from management trainee to dealer principal, to a 12-year period in South Africa, where he was initially with a manufacturer’s importer before moving into learning and development.
RTS Group managing director Malcolm Miller said the trio were a great addition to the team. “We are in the business of developing people and our own people are our key strength,” he said
“We’re delighted that Stuart, Argi and Paul have come on board, and with the experience they all have they will be a great asset to the company.”
RTS Group was founded in 1989 and has been providing learning and development services to the automotive industry for 25 years.
It works across Europe, the Middle East, China and South Africa with clients such as Mercedes-Benz, Mazda and Nissan.
