Swindon Designer Outlet has added to its fashion offering with the opening of UK-based fashion brand Reiss’s store.
The 2,000 sq ft unit will showcase the best of the brand’s menswear, womenswear and accessories and will create 10 full and part-time job positions.
Reiss was launched by David Reiss in 1971. Its range of timeless pieces, fine tailoring and easy-to-wear relaxed pieces has attracted a celebrity following from members of the Royal family to Hollywood stars and fashion influencers.
The new Swindon store is one of 160 in 15 countries. It joins high-end fashion and lifestyle brands including Jaeger, Osprey London and Ted Baker at the Swindon Designer Outlet.
The centre’s 123 stores offer a range of products from fashion to homeware, books and electrical goods and typically offer brands at discounts of up to 60%.
Centre Manager Tina Cumpstey, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Reiss to McArthurGlen Designer Outlet Swindon to add to a host of fashion brands already available at the centre.
“There’s a constant appetite for true fashion at a discounted price and we’re confident Reiss will be very popular with visitors.”
Reiss chairman and CEO David Reiss said: “We are delighted to be bringing Reiss to Swindon and introducing new customers to our brand.”
The Designer Outlet was opened by specialist developer McArthurGlen in 1997 in buildings that made up part of Swindon’s former railway works.
A second phase was added in 1999 and a third last year which increased its retail space to 250,000 sq ft.
McArthurGlen continues to manage the centre, although it is now owned by TH Real Estate within its UK Outlet Mall Partnership – an investment fund in which McArthurGlen has a stake.
