Regional law firm Withy King has appointed Tom Britten as a solicitor specialising in wills, powers of attorney, inheritance disputes and claims for financial provision.
Tom, pictured, joins the firm’s private client and inheritance & disputes teams based in its Swindon and Marlborough offices.
He previously worked at Charles Russell Speechlys in Guildford, where he was associate solicitor for seven months. Prior to that he was a trainee solicitor at Wilsons in Salisbury and gained his post graduate diploma in legal practice from UWE Bristol.
He said: “I’m very pleased to be joining a dynamic firm with such a well-regarded private client practice.
“This area of the law is a sensitive one as we are often dealing with emotive issues around wills, disputes over inheritance and applications for greater financial provision following the death of a family member.
“We also advise and support people who are interested in setting up and registering powers of attorney.”
