Chris Brooks, a surveyor with Swindon-based property agency Whitmarsh Lockhart, has been awarded Chartered status of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
Chris, pictured, who graduated from the Royal Agricultural University in Cirencester with a degree in Real Estate, has been employed by Whitmarsh Lockhart since 2011. He now has prestigious title of Member of the RICS.
Chris’ achievement means that all four members of Whitmarsh Lockhart’s agency team now holds RICS Chartered status and adheres to the high standards of professionalism and quality set by the organisation.
Chris said: “Achieving RICS Chartership was a challenging process as you must prove your skills across different areas of valuation, marketing and real estate sales.”
Whitmarsh Lockhart partner James Lockhart added: “Chris’ achievement is testament to the hard work and dedication that he puts into his work every day. He is a leading figure in the industrial/warehouse property sector in Swindon.”
The firm was formed in 1996 by its two equity partners, Paul Whitmarsh MRICS and James Lockhart FRICS, have 50 years combined experience in the commercial property sector in Wiltshire and Gloucestershire.
