Electrical course lecturer takes on new role at safety training firm

Swindon College lecturer Eric Russell-Brown has joined safety training firm Develop Training Limited (DTL) as a low voltage electrical lecturer.

Eric, pictured, brings a wealth of experience with him to the firm, the UK’s leading accredited provider of compliance, technical and safety training, having been a college lecturer for 10 years including teaching City & Guilds-accredited electrical courses to apprentices.

As well as just over six years at Swindon College, he has also lectured at Wiltshire College and Stroud College.

Previously, he spent 25 years in the British Army achieving the rank of Major and was responsible for the training and welfare of an infantry company of 110 men.

Eric said: “I am very pleased to be joining the DTL team and I look forward to utilising my past experience within my new role.”

DTL runs a diverse portfolio of courses created specifically for operatives at its training centres in Swindon, Derby, York, Linlithgow near Edinburgh and Bolton.
