The catering firm behind some of the UK’s most iconic venues has appointed Cirencester-based strategic communications agency Soaring Worldwide to handle its PR.
Under the contract, which runs until next year, Soaring Worldwide is working alongside Searcys to focus on a PR strategy designed to drive commercial business across its venues such as The Gherkin in London, pictured, Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire, and Bath’s Roman Baths, Pump Room and Assembly Rooms.
Soaring Worldwide specialises in the events and security industry with key clients including the Barbican, Church House Westminster, Grass Roots Meetings & Events and Magenta Security.
Creative director Adam Baggs said: “The opportunity to work with such a well-respected caterer as Searcys is something we are very proud of.
“Working across the many different venues that make up the Searcys collection, we have come to realise the positive impact they have had – and continue to make – on the world of meetings and events. We are passionate about sharing the Searcys story and the incredible work they do both in events and in catering.”
Soaring Worldwide said the partnership was already paying off with several venues already benefitting from the heightened PR strategy.
Searcys head of sales Johanna Byrane said: “Our industry talks and there was undoubtedly an understanding that Soaring Worldwide came with a strong reputation.
“Members of the Soaring team joined us for a two-day venue tour in London not so long ago and it gave them a real opportunity to witness the diverse venues we have within our collection as well as a chance to sample the excellent catering we have built a business around. We are looking forward to what the future brings in what is a very exciting new partnership for us all.”
Soaring Worldwide has also confirmed that The Barbican, Europe’s largest combined conference and arts venue, has signed a two-year extension to its PR deal taking that partnership through to a decade.
