Swindon firms are being encouraged to head along the M4 next week The Bath Business Expo 2016 – one of the region’s largest business events.
The Expo on March 17, which is supported by Bath & North East Somerset Council (B&NES) and a number of Swindon-based sponsors, will act as a local and regional meeting hub for business advice, seminars, business networking and exhibitors from across the Wiltshire, Somerset and Bristol region.
Organised by thebestof Bath in association with Get Connected, it again takes place in Bath’s Assembly Rooms – a stunning backdrop to a busy event that is expected to attract more than 500 visitors.
The outreach of this business event is reflected in the headline sponsors, all with offices in the region – Thrings Solicitors, Santander business banking, Datasharp Integrated Communications and Bristol Airport in co-operation with Brussels Airlines – who want to support the continued growth of the region’s business community, one of the UK’s most successful in recent years.
This one day event, which runs from 10am to 3pm, will include expert business speakers – some with international recognition – all tailored around inspiring, connecting and educating business people from the region.
Event organiser James Tribe said: “Making the right connections is vitally important for a business. That’s why the emphasis of this event is on ‘Connecting’. Visitors will be encouraged to network throughout the day but, to add to this, we will also offer organised speed networking sessions. Visitors can register for free on the event website, and over 300 have done so already.”
Around 100 local and regional businesses will be exhibiting – many of them SME – giving people a chance to meet face to face, make new contacts and create new opportunities.
Visitors will also enjoy give-aways from exhibitors, including a pair of tickets to Brussels from Brussels Airlines at Bristol Airport, as well as free professional photo portraits from photographers Taking Pictures.
The Bath Business Expo is free to attend by pre-registering on the event website, where visitors can also sign up to organised networking and expert seminars – all free to attend. Visit www.bathexpo.co.uk
