Funding and finance for small business will be explained at a free event for women in business tomorrow.

Speaker Debbie Neale, pictured, senior business manager at Inspire by Wessex Chamber, will give a 30-minute overview and introduction to the various ways of raising cash for a business before opening the meeting to questions.

While getting the money to start or develop a business has never been easy, developments in the world of finance – as well as the internet – now mean there are more ways than ever to access the cash needed.

The events is staged by the Bassett Women in Business Network, which organises free, monthly get-togethers to give advice, information and the all-too-important shared experience of other businesswomen.

It takes place at Manor House Enterprise Centre, High Street, Royal Wootton Bassett (off Lime Kiln), on Wednesday  February 17, from 10.30am to 12noon.

Coffee and cakes will be served after the talk with time for networking with other women in business. The meeting is free but online registration is essential at www.theenterprisenetwork.co.uk/women

The meetings are supported by The Enterprise Network (TEN), a Wiltshire Council initiative to support small business in Swindon and Wiltshire.
