National accountancy firm RSM has appointed tax partner Elsa Littlewood to its Swindon office to help grow its private client offering.
Elsa, who joins from regional firm Monahans’ Swindon office, specialises in private client tax, advising owner-managed businesses, wealthy families and rural businesses, particularly in the agricultural and international sectors.
She will work closely with RSM’s Swindon partners and staff and offer expertise to existing and new clients.
RSM Swindon office managing partner Sharon Omer-Kaye said: “It is fantastic to welcome Elsa to the senior leadership team here in Swindon.
“She brings with her a great deal of experience in areas that we intend to grow. Following our recent adoption of the global RSM brand, our strategy for the coming year is to further strengthen our offering to mid-market firms and private clients as well as continuing to recruit the very best people to ensure we become the adviser of choice in the local market.”
The Swindon office, in Westmead, was one of 35 former Baker Tilly offices rebranded as RSM in October, uniting them under a single common brand with RSM audit, tax and consulting firms across the world.
Earlier this month RSM reported a 39% rise in profits to £45m on UK revenues up 26% to £292m in the year to March 31.
The figure reflected a full year’s contribution to revenues and profits of the former Tenon business acquired in September 2013.
