International ISO consultancy IMSM has joined an exclusive list of organisations with a five-star certification under a prestigious quality scheme.
The Malmesbury-based firm, which previously held a four-star certificate, gained the higher status under the European Foundation for Quality Management’s (EFQM) ‘Recognised for Excellence’ (R4E) programme.
It is the highest level achievable and reflects an organisation’s unwavering commitment to excellence, innovation, social and environmental responsibility.
Other five-star organisations include blue-chip firms such as Virgin Trains and logistics giant Kuehne & Nagel.
The EFQM serves to help organisations improve and achieve high levels of performance through its R4E model.
The model covers nine criteria including leadership skills, policy and strategy, internal processes and the results they have achieved from customer, employee, society and key performance sectors.
IMSM excellence manager Wendy Mewis said: “It would be easy for everyone to believe that the success of this programme is purely down to the Excellence Committee – but this is not the case.
“Every survey you have ever participated in, every suggestion put forward, activities and meetings undertaken, new processes and ideas, client stories and the professional way each and every one of you conduct your daily activities are all taken into account, evaluated and scored.”
IMSM, which is a premier member of the British Quality Foundation (BQF), is committed to continuing the R4E excellence programme and maintaining its five-star certification through a programme of BQF seminars and workshops. The consultancy delivers high-quality ISO consultancy services and standards to organisations of all sizes and from all sectors across the world.
