Swindon-based bookings agency Venues and Events has recruited Megan Harper as creative executive.
Megan, pictured, has been taken on following a period of work experience for which she was referred by the Department for Work and Pensions as part of the trailblazer scheme.
She will now be responsible for a range of creative roles within the firm and help manage the agency’s growing strategic creative partnerships.
Venues and Events founder and chief executive Anita Lowe said: “Megan’s talents were an instant hit amongst the team and she’ll prove to be a vital asset in providing clients with creative executions to meet their event planning needs. We’re delighted she chose a career with us as it’s important to nurture the next generation of events professionals.”
Megan, who has a BA hons in graphic design, said: “I’m looking forward to supporting the team and our partners’ creative ideas and projects on behalf of Venues and Events International Limited’s clients. In addition to this I’m already contributing my own creative ideas to client event solutions.
“It’s a great agency to be part of, a place where I feel my talents will be both nurtured and taken to a new level. I’m so thrilled to be embarking on this stage of my career.”
Megan is one of a number of recent appointments at Venues and Events, which was set up earlier this year by long-serving industry figure Anita Lowe after she left events industry giant Bluehat.
