Swindon-based specialist property law firm Hoffman Male has taken on two new staff as it continues to expand.
Joining the firm's Bristol office are Katherine Vargas and Danielle Mellor. Hoffman Male, which specialises in property, and wills and probate, opened its Bristol office at Aztec West in 2013 and is now to move to larger premises within the same Regus-run serviced office complex.
A licensed conveyancer, Katherine spent more than 15 years in the Merchant Navy before leaving to start a family. She then retrained as a property lawyer and prior to joining Hoffman Male had been working at Marie Dark Solicitors in Chepstow.
She said: “I have a lot of experience in conveyancing, particularly in property and land development, but I really wanted a new challenge. I am delighted to have joined Hoffman Male. They are very friendly, very professional and I like the way they offer a personal service to their clients.”
Danielle had been working at a solicitors’ firm in Ilfracombe but joined Hoffman Male when she relocated to Bristol. A legal assistant, she hopes to train to be a licensed conveyancer.
She said: “I really enjoy it here. I feel very settled and am very much looking forward to moving to our new offices.”
Hoffman Male partner Yvette Briggs, who runs the Bristol office, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Katherine and Danielle to the team. Our Bristol office opened two years ago, and we have been getting busier all the time.
“Katherine is a very experienced property lawyer, so began working with our clients as soon as she joined. Danielle has some great legal experience already and is very keen to progress her career. They will both be a great addition to the team.”
Hoffman Male has been established for more than 35 years.
