Swindon telemarketing company The Business Generation Group (TBG Group) has taken on two experienced new staff members to cope with growing demand for its services.
The firm, which specialises in generating quality leads and appointments for businesses, has appointed Liz Tremblay as account manager and Claire Hirt as business development executive. Both have long and successful careers in sales and telemarketing.
TBG Group head of operations Martin Dugan said: “At TBG Group we focus on building relationships and trust with our clients, so when we are looking for leads and appointments at a very senior level we are functioning as an extension of their own marketing department. Claire and Liz have exactly the skills set we needed to fit in with the team and we are very lucky to have them.”
London-born Liz trained as a dancer but then opted for a career in sales, becoming a key account manager, most recently with Fast Track Solutions in Chippenham.
She said: “I was attracted to the position at TBG Group because they take a consultative approach towards their clients, get to know what the client wants and are able to then achieve high end, quality results.
“TBG Group is a growing business, and I think my skills and input will be able to help them. It’s a great opportunity for me to be part of the journey.”
Claire, who was born and brought up in Swindon, has had a career that has taken her from PA, to retail sales, to insurance sales and then telemarketing, where she has worked in senior roles for both the oil and confectionery industries.
Like Liz, she specialises in a consultative approach to telemarketing. She said: “I’d heard of the team here and thought it was a great opportunity, as their approach fits in with mine. Successful telemarketing is about building a relationship with the client, and adding value to their sales.”
Claire is very involved in her local area, including running a community centre, while Liz is studying psychology, which she says helps her get a better understanding of her clients and their potential customers.
As well as telemarketing campaigns, lead generation and appointment setting, TBG Group – a sister company to Swindon B2B technology telemarketing business VHO – specialises in email marketing, bespoke data creation, data cleansing and market research.
