Swindon specialist sales and marketing recruitment consultancy Ardour has taken on Laura Simmonds as an administrator with business and customer service responsibilities.
Ardour, based at Kembrey Park, has a growing reputation for offering tailored recruitment services based on experience of sales and marketing best practice. Clients include Rentokil, AAP3 and Minuteman Press. 
Laura, pictured, who has a background in customer services, said: “I wanted to work for Ardour Recruitment because they have such a professional and thorough approach to recruitment and I’m also able to work in a warm and friendly environment.

Laura began her career at engineering services firm Velosi Europe in Reading, co-ordinating global oil and gas inspections in her role as an administrator.
She has since undertaken a number of customer-facing roles with firms such as Accord Office Supplies and Redland Monier, where she was responsible for the roll-out of new processes to all customer services staff of the roofing tile firm.
At Ardour she sources and screens candidates, creates and manages job adverts and communicates industry developments to the rest of the team.
Ardour Recruitment was co-founded in March 2013 by sisters-in-law Lynda Gillingham and Donna Gillingham. Lynda had previously worked in telecoms while Donna had worked in recruitment.
