Each week Swindon Business News gives a prominent member of the town’s business community the last word on its weekly e-bulletin.
This week Iain Black, partner at Monahans Accountants, answers our 10 questions.
What was the LAST:
Film you watched? A family outing to see The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1
Book you read? World Without End by Ken Follett. I have Fall of Giants by the same author ready for holiday this summer if I can fit it in my hand luggage.
Music you bought/downloaded? Wanted on Voyage – George Ezra. My daughter would be proud!
Concert or play you went to? Concert at the Kings – A great charity event in a field behind a pub in All Cannings that was headlined by one of my favourite bands, Squeeze.
Sporting event you attended? The Wales Open golf at the Celtic Manor to see how the game should be played.
Holiday you went on? A visit to the Christmas markets in Cologne.
Restaurant you ate in? Turtle Bay in Bath.
Thing that annoyed you? The ability of my daughter to extract money from me without me noticing.
Thing that made you laugh out loud? My Westie trying to convince me that he hadn’t just run through and destroyed a newly planted flower bed despite being covered in compost and bark chippings.
Piece of good advice you were given? To trust your instincts as they are usually right.
