Swindon design and branding agency Jazzbones Creative has appointed former Forward Swindon marketing manager Michelle Jones as its marketing and account director.
Michelle, pictured, who spent five years at the town’s economic development business, has also worked as a marketing manager, global promotions manager and account manager for organisations such as Swindon Borough Council, global entertainments group Celador International and global loyalty programmes group Carlson Marketing. 
Jazzbones, which works with a diverse portfolio of clients across a range of business sectors, said Michelle would add “vast marketing experience and local insight” to its operation.
It described her as having an “outstanding mix of strategic leadership and hands-on account management in both the public and private sectors that will make her such a great resource for Jazzbones clients”.
Jazzbones managing director Nathan Sandhu said: “I have worked with Michelle on many creative projects for Forward Swindon. I always found her to be passionate, well-organised and full of great ideas.
“She was responsible for delivering some major marketing and digital projects and these were always delivered on-time and on budget. I’ve always thought she’d be a real asset to any marketing team, and now that team is Jazzbones I couldn’t be more delighted.”
Michelle, who once donned a Honey Monster suit at marketing events, added: “I love all things marketing, especially digital. I’m a huge advocate of my home town. Jazzbones already play a key role in marketing some great local businesses and I can’t wait to start making a contribution to their success and Swindon’s.”
Jazzbones, which launched 10 years ago, specialises in graphic design, innovative websites, compelling brand identities, advertising and digital marketing campaigns.
