Swindon Business News has teamed up again with executive search firm Moon Consulting to seek the opinions of business leaders across the South West and find out more about the diverse attitudes and leadership abilities of the region’s boardrooms.
The South West Board Effectiveness Survey 2015 enables board directors and non-executives to give a candid and anonymous assessment of how the current market is affecting their business and leadership teams.
This information will be shared with policy makers and business organisations across the region. This year the survey will also gauge the views of directors on sustainability.
It follows the first successful board effectiveness survey last year. The annual survey is designed to assess the abilities and attitudes of boardrooms across the South West region.
Moon Consulting director Vanessa Moon, pictured, said: “This is a great opportunity for business leaders to get their voices heard. We want to increase our understanding of how market trends and growth prospects are affecting our region’s boards.
“The survey should take no more than five minutes to complete and we treat responses in the strictest confidence. We appreciate the time and opinions of all participants.”
Swindon Business News editor Robert Buckland added: “This year we are particularly interested in executive attitudes towards sustainability.
“There is widespread interest in sustainability in the region, but how important is that viewed in the region’s boardrooms? This survey offers a unique opportunity to gauge the views of directors.
“Our respected survey also enables the views of the region’s boardrooms to be heard by policy makers and business lobbyists across the South West, reflecting how the market environment is affecting businesses and their leadership teams.”
