Swindon-based recruitment firm Field has created a new role to help it expand further afield.
It has appointed experienced recruiter Kim Masterman, pictured, as recruitment consultant with a brief to build on Field’s growing client base Gloucestershire and the Bristol area.
Kim, who was brought up in Wiltshire, moved to Bournemouth after college to begin her career in recruitment, progressing to senior consultant and managing a team of five before taking a career break to have her two children.
She later moved back to Swindon to be nearer family and after a short time working with a financial services company, joined Field Recruitment.
She said “My role here will be to grow our client base, particularly in the Cotswolds, Cheltenham and Gloucester area,” said Kim. “I’ve worked in recruitment for many years and am looking forward to helping with the business development of such a great company. They are a really great team and have been very welcoming.”
Field service delivery manager Emma Ryder said Kim’s role was to engage with businesses looking for a consultative approach to recruitment.
“Kim will be a great asset to our team, because of her experience,” said Emma. “Her role will be as a 360 degree recruiter, so not just filling roles but working closely with clients to assess their needs and to anticipate their future staffing requirements.
“Although we’re based in Swindon, our business systems are cloud-based giving us the ability to work anywhere. We have a fast-growing client and candidate base in the Bristol and Gloucestershire areas that Kim will be able to build on.”
Field Recruitment, which launched in 1974, supplies permanent, temporary and contract staff. Its services includes search and select, managed recruitment and free online candidate sourcing with associated services such as candidate skills testing and pre-employment referencing and background checking.
