Bower & Bailey Solicitors has expanded its Swindon office with the appointment of Sarah Davis as a qualified solicitor after she successfully completed her two-year training contract with the firm.

Sarah has joined the firm’s property department and will be working on residential and commercial property transactions.

Sarah joined Bower & Bailey, which also has offices in Banbury, Oxford, and Witney, in March 2013 having gained valuable experience in residential and commercial property with a firm of London solicitors.

She completed her law degree at Oxford Brookes University in 2008 and her Legal Practice Course at the College of Law in London.

Sarah said: “I thoroughly enjoyed my two-year training contract with Bower & Bailey as it’s an established firm offering a broad range of legal services within Swindon.

“Working in property has always been an ambition of mine. I have enhanced my legal knowledge and experience whilst training with the firm and working alongside Simon Smith, the Swindon office managing partner. This diverse, hands-on new role will allow me to work with great clients in and around Swindon.”

Bower & Bailey, which launched in Oxford in 1973, celebrates its 30th anniversary in Swindon this year.

Mr Smith added: “It’s great news to be expanding and strengthening our property team in Swindon in this our 30th year in the town. Sarah is a welcome addition and we are proud of her achievement and success.”

Bower & Bailey’s property department handles hundreds of conveyancing cases each year. The firm is a member of the Law Society’s Conveyancing Quality Scheme (CQS).
