Business Show Swindon 2015, which takes place on April 23, has announced the first of its business growth seminars – a 360-degree view of how small firms can attract, recruit and retain happy, quality staff.

Called Appeal, Reputation and Success, the seminar will be delivered by award-winning recruiter and employer branding extraordinaire Mark Bevans.

Mark, pictured, encourages businesses to ask themselves the question: “Why do you love working where you do and why would candidates love it too?”

“That’s what businesses need to talk about every time they want to recruit,” said Mark. “Sounds easy! So why do millions of agencies and recruiters get it wrong every day?”

During his talk he will illustrate the power of an ‘employer brand’ and explain how firms can identify and communicate their brand to potential and existing employees.

He will also explain how to manage their social media in relation to your employer branding, providing them with the ultimate small and medium-sized business recruitment playbook.

Business Show Swindon, which is staged by Business West – the organisation behind the Swindon Initiative – takes place again at the town’s STEAM museum. It will run from 9am to 4pm and attendance is free.

Mark Bevans’ seminar will take place at 10am. To book a place visit www.businessshowswindon.co.uk
