Cricklade-based specialist packaging group GWP has appointed John Buckle to the newly-created role of operations manager within its fast-growing Conductive division.
John, pictured, will focus on leading the day-to-day operations within the specialist ESD (electrostatic discharge) prevention area of the business, developing its reach into new markets and ensuring the firm’s exemplary customer service is maintained as it expands.
GWP Conductive’s product range includes conductive foam which can minimise the effects of ESD on sensitive electronic equipment.
Prior to joining GWP, John worked for leading manufacturers such as Hewlett Packard, TallyGenicom, Xerox, and Technograph & Telegraph.
His long career in service delivery and account management in the UK, Europe, Middle East and Africa has given him a wealth of experience in the management of manufacturing operations.

GWP Conductive designs and manufactures ESD-safe and anti-static packaging and is the exclusive manufacturer of Corstat, the leading conductive corrugated fibreboard.
Customers span the military and defence, broadcast and media, automotive and electronics and IT industries.
The GWP group, which also has a base in Salisbury, employs around 100 people across its five divisions – GWP Conductive, GWP Packaging, GWP Protective, GWP Correx, and GWP Coatings.
