The Business Show Swindon returns for its fifth year in April with organisers Business West promising an event that will showcase the town’s go-ahead businesses and offer a range of support for anyone starting or growing a business.
Staged again at the town’s STEAM railway museum, it will provide a platform for firms to network, promote themselves, make valuable contacts and win new business.
Last year’s show attracted more than 1,000 visitors with motivational speakers and advice sessions running alongside the exhibition.
Full details of this year’s event, between 9am and 4pm on April 23, have yet to be announced – including its keynote speaker.
But, with the town’s economic recovery gaining strength, organisers are expecting even greater interest this year.
Ian Larrard, director of the Initiative in Swindon and Wiltshire, part of Business West, said: “We are bringing the business show back again due to popular demand. Not only is it always a sell-out but it has now become a much anticipated fixture in Swindon’s business calendar. “It provides local businesses with a great platform to network and create new business opportunities. This year’s show is set to be an even bigger success with added events in the programme, providing a fully-packed day to do business in Swindon.”
Attendance is free and key highlights of this year’s show will include an inspirational keynote speaker, a digital zone where businesses can click and connect, a unique international trade zone, and also a range of informative seminars to help businesses grow.
More than 100 stands are now on sale with prices starting at just £200 plus VAT. Members of Business West Chambers of Commerce also save a third on stand prices. To book a stand go to www.businessshowswindon.co.uk
