Each week Swindon Business News gives a prominent member of the town’s business community the last word on its weekly e-bulletin.

This week Mark Kennedy, director of Akcess, a Swindon-based community interest company specialising in special needs school transport and transport for wheelchair users and elderly people with mobility problems, answers our 10 questions.

What was the LAST:

Film you watched? American Sniper

Book you read? The hundred year old man who climbed out the window and disappeared

Music you bought or downloaded? All of Me by John Legend

Concert or play you went to? Oh dear . . . Robbie Williams.

Sporting event you attended?  Oh dear again! WWE Wrestling.

Holiday you went on? Skiing in the Alps

Restaurant you ate in? Jamie Oliver’s Fifteen

Thing that annoyed you? Probably me, forgetting something?

Thing that made you laugh out loud? Office banter!

Piece of good advice you were given? Self-control equals happiness

Originally from Paddington, London, and happily married with five children and two new grandchildren, Mark Kennedy started his first business when he was 17 and has been working in customer service and client management for most of his life. He likes reading, skiing, climbing, admits he has a nerdy love for gaming, but ultimately his drive and happiness stems from his family.
