Law firm Bower & Bailey has promoted Mary Cutts to the role of commercial property partner in its Swindon office.
Mary, pictured, who has worked at the firm for seven years, joins eight other partners in Swindon working across a range of legal services.
Swindon office managing partner Simon Smith said: “Mary is an asset to the firm and a welcome addition to our strong partnership team in Swindon.”
Her promotion comes as Bower & Bailey celebrates its 30th anniversary in Swindon and continues to grow in the town.
Mary has extensive experience in commercial property and has represented individual and corporate clients in the sale and purchase of freehold and leasehold commercial properties as well as property developers in acquiring and setting up of developments sites.
She also represents landlords and tenants on all aspects of commercial leases including lease grants, assignments and surrenders and also institutional lenders on secured lending transactions.
Her clients span the retail, leisure, care, manufacturing and industrial sectors.

Mary qualified as a solicitor in 2005 and joined Bower & Bailey as an assistant solicitor in 2007. Before entering the law she had a successful career in the public sector as a biomedical scientist operating in a strategic development role within the National Blood Service.
