Intuit UK, the firm behind QuickBooks financial software for accountants and small businesses, has awarded a major event management contract to Purton-based event management specialist Planet Pursuits.
Under the two-year contract, which follows a successful project tender, Planet Pursuits will implement and manage a wide range of customer engagement and training events.
Intuit’s brief was for a forward-thinking and innovative event company that could complement the rapid growth of its QuickBooks offering in the UK and take its customer engagement to the next level.
Intuit group marketing manager Jude Johnson said: “We are very excited to be collaborating with Planet Pursuits and were very impressed with the team and their passion and innovative flair for showing up and winning at events.”
Planet Pursuits director Simon Maddison added: “This contract and high-profile client represents a major win for us and reflects our innovative approach, commitment and passion for events.

Founded 14 years ago on a farm in Purton, Planet Pursuits now conducts more than 200 events a year and 700-plus venue finds. It has won a string of industry awards including Gold and Silver in 2014 at the Meetings and Incentive Travel awards, including Best Event Provider.
