Swindon-based vehicle leasing and fleet management firm Arval UK has put its 100,000th vehicle on the road following a year of strong growth.
The firm, part of French banking giant BNP Paribas, said new initiatives introduced over the past couple of years had won it new customers ranging from large corporates with thousands of vehicles to small businesses with just one or two.
These include a new customer-focused account team structure, its award-winning Arval Smart Experience and Arval Total Care, an insured leased vehicle product.
Arval UK managing director Benoit Dilly said: “Since I joined Arval just over a year ago we have had a clear growth strategy, underpinned by a focus on customer service and the development of our employees. Moving past this milestone is testament to the strides that our teams have made in supporting existing customers and attracting new ones.
“We will retain a focus on growth in the future, aiming to attract businesses of all sizes and across the full range of industry sectors. As long as we keep delivering leading products, underpinned with great levels of service, I am confident that we will continue this positive trend.”

Arval’s 100,000th vehicle was a Vauxhall Vivaro van delivered to national home assistance company HomeServe.
According to Fleet News’ market intelligence report, Arval UK is the country’s fifth-largest vehicle leasing company behind Lex, LeasePlan, Alphabet and ALD. The firm, which has its head office on Swindon's Windmill Hill business park, has operated in the UK since 1989.
Arval also operates directly in 24 other countries and in a further 14 through a network of partners. Its total number of leased vehicles across the world reached 700,000 in July this year.
