Logistics firm PC Howard, which has a depot in Swindon, has landed a national award in recognition of its outstanding performance.
The company, which provides express delivery services for palletised freight across the UK and mainland Europe, has received the coveted Palletways Platinum Club Award for achieving outstanding levels of service and operational excellence within the Palletways UK network.
Palletways is Europe’s largest and fastest-growing express palletised freight network with 300 depots, just over 100 of them in the UK. The independent transport companies making up its members share resources to deliver consignments of palletised freight to market faster and more cost-effectively than ever before.
PC Howard, which also has depots in Corby, Peterborough and Northampton, has now joined an elite group of 27 companies in the Palletways UK network to gain the Platinum Club Award by demonstrating the highest levels of performance, commitment to customer service and compliance.
PC Howard principal Andrew Howard said: “We are delighted to have secured this prestigious award, which reflects the hard work put in by all our staff to ensure we continuously enhance our operations and levels of service.
“Winning this award demonstrates to our customers that they can expect a first-class delivery service for their small consignment delivery needs across the UK and Europe.”
Palletways (UK) managing director Luis Zubialde added: “We would like to congratulate PC Howard for being one of the top performers in our UK network. Providing customers with a fast, reliable and efficient service is our top priority, and these awards highlight the dedication of our members to meeting the very highest standards.”
