Specialist teacher recruitment firm Classpeople has added new team members to its Swindon branch as demand for its services continues to grow.
Lisa Harker has been promoted to branch manager after two years working at the company’s head office in Cheltenham. Two recruitment consultants – Carly Wheeler and Brittany Bolton – have also been taken on to help Lisa develop the branch.
Lisa said: “Over the past 18 months I've been working closely with schools and teachers in the Swindon and Wiltshire area and I’m so pleased that we are investing in growing this branch.
“It will give my team and me the opportunity to really get involved with the local community and build important relationships further, as it is an integral part of how we do business at Classpeople.”
The firm was founded in 2003 by primary school teacher Lynis Bassett and has grown to become a leading specialist recruitment consultancy in the education sector. The independent agency began life by supplying primary schools, but quickly moved to secondary schools and a number of other markets.
Initially covering Gloucestershire, Classpeople has expanded into the South West and Midlands with offices in Cheltenham, Bristol, Swindon, Exeter and Worcester.
