Commercial property agent Daniel Smethurst has launched his own business, Smethurst Property Consultants, to focus on the Wiltshire and Gloucestershire region.
Daniel, pictured, has more than 14 years’ commercial property experience in the region, having spent 11 years at Swindon firm Whitmarsh Lockhart, which he joined as a graduate surveyor, before becoming a director in international firm BNP Paribas’ Bristol office.
Malmesbury-based Smethurst Property Consultants specialises in selling and letting office and industrial/warehouse distribution buildings and the disposal of commercial development land.
It also provides advice to landlords and tenants on lease renewals, lease re-gearing and break options.
The firm has strong regional contacts and ties with building surveyors and property management consultants, which enables it to offer a comprehensive service to clients.
Daniel said: “Smethurst Property Consultants offers a unique blend of in-depth regional knowledge, a proven track record in the acquisition and disposal of office and industrial assets and pro-active thinking to give their clients the competitive edge.
“The company ethos is simple – we aim to provide high quality, personal, independent bespoke advice at a senior level.
“This is an exciting time and I have been overwhelmed by the support that I have received while setting up this venture. I am looking forward to working with existing and new clients both locally and nationally and have some exiting new projects on the horizon.”
Daniel studied at the University of The West Of England (UWE) and is a qualified chartered surveyor and a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS).
