Development opportunities in the residential and commercial property markets in and around Swindon will be highlighted at a seminar to be staged in the town next month.

The free event is being held by Barclays with Withy King Solicitors, planning and development consultancy DPDS Consulting Group and accountants Morris Owen and will be suitable for business owners and private individuals.

It will take place between 8am and 9.30am at the National Self Build and Renovation Centre, Lydiard Fields, on October 8 and will be followed by networking.

Speakers from Barclays, Withy King, DPDS and Morris Owen will give expert overviews on a wide range of market issues.

Barclays senior business manager in Swindon, Graeme Harrison, said: “Against the backdrop of current low interest rates the seminar will discuss all aspects of property opportunities from residential to buy-to-let opportunities to commercial property, development and investment.

“Even in seemingly buoyant market conditions, there are often a number of issues to be overcome. By bringing together local expertise covering architectural, planning, tax and legal skills we hope the seminar will offer something for everyone looking to buy, sell or invest in the local property market.”
