Training and learning provider TBG Learning is celebrating the landmark of supporting 2,000 unemployed people across Wiltshire into work since the introduction of a Government scheme three years ago.

TBG Learning, which has its Swindon base on Station Road, handles the Government’s Work Programme on behalf of Rehab JobFit, which helps the long-term unemployed into work through a bespoke package of support and assistance.

The Birmingham-based company, which has more than 20 offices across the UK, works with businesses to identify employment opportunities. It has regularly expanded its team over the past three years to meet demand for its services.

In Swindon, TBG Learning has evolved from seven staff into a 20-strong team, including a number of trainees with the company.

Business manager James Manners said reaching the milestone was testament to the hard work of his staff and customers.

“We really do pride ourselves on providing a bespoke service for our customers,” he said. “It’s a huge team effort and our staff are so hard-working and are doing a great job helping to boost confidence and skills through a mixture of advice and training.

“We are giving jobseekers a push in the right direction to find employment with businesses across Wiltshire.

“But we also recruit customers into our own business – we have great faith in our work and we are committed to helping people into sustained work.

“Over the years we have built strong relationships with companies and employers, and we look forward to continuing our support to the talented people we have here in Swindon into work.”
