Accountancy firm Monahans’ expertise in cloud accounting will be showcased at a workshop in Swindon next month.

Presented by Simon Tombs, pictured, a partner at the firm which has an office in Swindon, the event will answer questions such as what is cloud accounting and why is it different?

It will also explain how it creates a different relationship between businesses and their accountants, how it can save time and money, how outsourcing back office functions can be viable and the type of services that can be delivered.

The free workshop forms part of the South West Expo 2014, which is being held on September 18 at Swindon’s STEAM museum.

The show runs from 9am to 3pm with Monahan’s cloud accounting workshop running between 11am and 11:30am.

Monahans tax partner Dominic Bourquin said: “The South West Expo will allow us to present our full range of services to business professionals. Most people have heard of Monahans, but few are aware that our services include payroll, insolvency, tax consultancy and many more.”

Monahans is one of the largest independent chartered accountancy groups in the West of England with 15 partners and around 120 staff in its offices in Bath, Chippenham, Glastonbury, Frome, Swindon and Trowbridge.
