Upmarket women’s and menswear retailer Brocks is to open a branch in Marlborough after taking a unit in the town’s Hughenden Yard scheme.
The letting by Swindon property agent Kilpatrick & Co means only one unit is left available in Hughenden Yard.
Brocks, which already has shops in Stow-on-the-Wold, Cirencester and Bath, is now fitting out the unit and will open in September with a new autumn from brands such as Duchamp, Circle of Gentlemen, COG Women and Le Salon des Femmes.
Andrew Kilpatrick of Kilpatrick & Co said: “Brocks presence will enhance Hughenden Yard’s reputation as the location in Marlborough for specialist retailers.”
Brocks will join long-established Hughenden Yard tenants Vincent Menswear, specialist music shop Sound Knowledge, coffee shop/restaurant Azuza, women’s fashion B & Co, hairdresser Goldsworthy’s, interior designers and handmade kitchen fitting specialists Moore & Bradfield, and specialist furniture shop Heart’s Desire.
Mr Kilpatrick added: “This letting was going to mean that we had no more shops to offer, but Unit 7 has just become available next to Azuza, offering 500 sq ft.”
