Swindon-based TrustOn Security has gained national recognition from the industry’s lead body as one of the top-performing businesses in the sector.
The firm, which employs 35 staff at its South Marston head office and provides services such as mobile patrol, manned guarding and key holding, has been accredited as outperforming 95% of the UK’s security providers by independent regulator the Security Industry Authority.
TrustOn has been audited every year since it was formed five years ago. It has consistently maintained high standards across a number of critical success factors encompassing the entire organisation, placing it in the top 5% of all Security Industry Authority-approved contractors.
The firm, built up by local businesswoman and managing director Margaret Wilson, now handles assets worth £15bn for clients across the South West and London.
Margaret said: “When I started the business at the end of 2008 with two fellow directors, we wanted to raise the standards of the security industry.
“We must have done something right because within six months we got our official accreditation, it’s at the cornerstone of everything we do to maintain that reputation and raise standards of delivery in the industry, so we’re very proud to have received a further official recognition from the auditors.”
