TM Group, the Swindon-based property search specialist, has appointed Stuart McWhinnie as chief technology officer to help develop ground-breaking online products for the property industry.
Having previously held high-profile roles at Sky and OneSearch Direct, Stuart brings a wealth of experience in administering change across people, process and systems to drive efficiency in complex environments.
TM, based on Swindon’s Delta Office Park, is expanding rapidly and, in his new role, Stuart will focus on putting structures in place to help support this development as well as overseeing emergent projects.
He said: “I am delighted to be joining such an extremely progressive and exciting company that’s delivering impressive growth.
“What sets TM Group apart is the ambition that we have shown in moving forward with new products; it is very promising that we are willing to accept and drive change in a market not always known for its innovation.”
TM managing director Paul Albone added: “Stuart joins us at an ideal time as we venture into new markets and extend the reach of our services. I’m encouraged that we are able to attract someone with the range of skills and knowledge that Stuart brings and I look forward to working with him to ensure that we continue to evolve.”
TM Group is the UK’s largest provider of property searches.
Established in 1999 as a response to the government’s National Land Information Service initiative, it joins up other industry-respected solutions into a coherent platform which minimises and manages the risk of a transaction for everyone involved.
One of its earliest achievements was to reduce the search ordering process from 45 minutes to just five minutes.
