Swindon-based luxury holiday company Imagine Cruising has been announced as the new mainline sponsor of Swindon Town from the start of the 2014/2015 season.
The privately-owned firm, which sells cruise and stay holidays to destinations around the world from its base on the Lydiard Fields Business Park, said the two-year deal built on its existing support for the local community.
The package includes Imagine Cruising branding on the League One club’s shirts, around the County Ground and on all club literature.
Imagine Cruising was launched more than 15 years ago and now employs more than 70 people in the UK and more than 40 in South Africa.
Managing Director Robin Deller said: “We are excited to be sponsoring Swindon Town and playing our part in the local community.
“As a young business we look forward to working closely with the club in a number of ways which will benefit both our awareness and growth as well as creating events and opportunities for the club and their supporters.”
Imagine Cruising replace South Korean consumer goods giant Samsung as sponsor.
Swindon Town general manager Steve Anderson said: “Swindon Town are always keen to establish and build relationships with local businesses and Imagine Cruising fit that bill perfectly.
“We are delighted to have them on board and are excited by the ideas and plans they have to work in and engage the local community.”
“As a growing business in the Swindon area, their ambition and drive for success mirrors that of the club and we very much look forward to our partnership blossoming over the next two years and hopefully beyond.”
