Swindon-based specialist law firm Hoffman Male has taken on two more staff as it experiences a big upturn in business.
Tara Aqeel and Jodie Allan have joined as trainee conveyancers working alongside partner Mary Hoffman.
They are the second and third signings this year for the growing business, which also specialises in wills and probate. In February Rachael James took up a post as trainee conveyancer at its Bristol office.
Tara, 26, took a law degree at Birmingham University, followed by her Legal Practice Course in Bristol. At Hoffman Male she will train to become a licensed conveyancer.
Tara said: “Before I went to university, I helped out in a conveyancing business and really enjoyed it.
“What I enjoy about conveyancing is the interaction with clients and the fact that it’s so busy. Hoffman Male is ideal, because we’re a small but specialist team.”
Jodie, 27, joins following eight years with another Swindon law firm, where she was a legal secretary. She will now train to become a licensed conveyancer.
She said: “I wanted more of a challenge and really enjoyed the conveyancing side of the firm I was with. I was attracted to Hoffman Male because it is a smaller firm and offers clients a really personal, specialist service.”
Mary Hoffman said both women were a great asset to Hoffman Male. “Our business is expanding, and we needed to take on two additional trainee conveyancers to assist with the workload. I’m thrilled we now have Tara and Jodie, because they are incredibly enthusiastic, hard-working, and are already a hit with our clients.”
