Cardwave, the Devizes-based pioneer in flash memory products used in a wide range of devices including mobile phones, digital cameras and notebook computers, has launched a new division specialising in mobile security products.

Headed by new recruit Lee Griffin, it will focus on establishing a network of dedicated partners to promote a new range of products that includes SafeToGo, a hardware-encrypted USB3.0 flash drive.

Cardwave is developing other products that make it easy for people to access and store their data safely, and part of Lee’s responsibilities will be to ensure these products are at the forefront of the market.

Lee has spent most of the past 20 years developing European and global channels for a number of well-established software products in the systems management, remote control, email management and storage management sectors – all of which grew to be market leaders.

“I am looking forward to repeating this success with SafeToGo and all the other products that Cardwave is developing,” he said.
Lee’s initial goal is to open up distribution channels across all major European markets including the UK, Ireland, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Sweden, Norway, Finland, France, Spain, Netherlands and Belgium.

The goal is to have representation in these countries and to support Cardwave’s partners with their marketing activities in their respective territories. Other countries will follow.
