Cardwave, the innovative Devizes-based specialist technology firm, has strengthened its management team with two key appointments as it continues to grow its business.
The firm, a pioneer in flash memory products used in a wide range of devices including mobile phones, digital cameras and notebook computers, has recruited Tim Norris as business development manager and Emma Charlton as marketing and communications manager.
Their arrival at Cardwave comes shortly after it won two large contracts in the automobile and service sectors.
Cardwave was formed in 2004 to focus exclusively on providing a data programming service to original equipment manufacturers and memory card manufacturers. The company has grown to establish itself as a pioneer in this new industry.
Chief executive Paul Norbury said: “Tim will take responsibility for growing the business further. He brings an in-depth knowledge of embedded computing technologies and working with customers in mission-critical applications across many sectors including aerospace, rail and automotive. He will work with key partners, suppliers and customers to develop a successful mutual business.
“Emma has a wide range of experience working within growing organisations across numerous sectors, she is Chartered Institute of Marketing-qualified and has been recognised as a finalist in an industry social media marketing award this year. She will take overall responsibility for managing everything related to the company’s marketing and communication needs across all platforms.”
