Swindon-based social housing group GreenSquare has been named as one of the UK’s top 10 social landlords in a list compiled by leading industry magazine 24housing and the Housing Quality Network (HQN).
24Housing and the HQN launched a quest last month to find the UK’s top social housing landlords asking for nominations from housing providers across the country.
Over the past few weeks, a panel of expert industry judges has decided who they consider to be the best performers and compiled a top 50 list, which includes councils, charities, housing associations and ALMOs (Arm’s Length Management Organisations – not-for-profit companies that provide housing services on behalf of local authorities).
The judges have now decided the placings of those between 11 to 50 in the list but are leaving the order of the top 10, which includes GreenSquare, to members of the public – asking them to vote on which landlord should come out on top.
Anyone wishing to vote should visit www.24housing.co.uk/landlords-vote. Voting closes at 5pm on Thursday, October 31.
Formed in 2008, GreenSquare provides housing, regeneration, care and support and commercial services across Wiltshire, Oxfordshire and Gloucestershire. It also has satellite offices in Chippenham, Oxford and Gloucester.
