Two firms of chartered accountants from the Swindon area are to compete for the same accolade at the profession’s most sought after awards.
Dennis & Turnbull, based in Badbury, and BHG based on the Shrivenham Hundred business park at Watchfield, are both shortlisted in the Independent Firm of the Year South West and Wales category in the prestigious British Accountancy Awards.
They will line up at the gala awards event in London next month against three other firms – one each from Dorset, Bristol and South Wales.
The awards, now in their third year, are staged by arranged by Accountancy Age, the profession’s ‘bible’and will be presented before 500-plus guests on November 20 at The Pavilion at the Tower in central London.
Francis Clark, the South West accountancy firm with an office in Salisbury, is shortlisted for the Mid-Tier firm of the year and Audit firm of the year awards.
