The Swindon office of property consultancy Alder King has let 2,803 sq ft of office space at Cirencester Office Park to web capture and data integration firm Govtech Solutions.

The firm, which provides services to a wide range of public sector clients including local authorities, now occupies units 3 and 4 on a new sub-lease to August 2020. Alder King acted on behalf of tenant Bromford Housing. Govtech was previously based in Castle Street in Cirencester town centre.

Govtech managing director Andrew Melvin said: “The move provides us with larger, modern premises that reflect the hi-tech nature of our business as well as providing us with room for future expansion.”

James Gregory, partner at Alder King’s Swindon office, added: “Accommodation at Cirencester Office Park is always in demand and explains the quick success in achieving this sub-letting on behalf of our client.”

Govtech represented itself in the transaction.

Cirencester Office Park has around 53,000 sq ft of space in three buildings on a 3.5-acre site on the town’s outskirts, formerly home to Cirencester Town Football Club.

Fosseway Housing Association’s headquarters occupies one building at the park. Other tenants include i2i Marketing, rural property consultancy Smiths Gore, serviced office group United Business Centres, social housing provider Bromford and energy management firm Aimteq.
