Property consultancy Alder King, which has an office in Swindon, has won two prestigious awards from property industry publication Estates Gazette, picking up the inaugural South West Property Adviser of the Year Award, and the South West Most Active Agent Award for an unprecedented 12th year in succession.
The firm, employing around 150 people across the South West and South Wales, won the Property Adviser Award based on the volume of floor space transacted, and the Most Active Agent Award for the number of deals completed in 2012.
Once again, it was Alder King’s dominance in the offices and industrial markets, supported by strong performances in the retail and investment sectors, which helped clinch the Most Active Agent title for another year.
Alder King Swindon office partner James Gregory said: “We are delighted to have won these two awards and to win the Most Active Agent Award for a 12th time is an accolade we are extremely proud of.
“There’s no doubt that the market remains competitive but our agency teams are tenacious in their efforts to secure deals on behalf of our clients and it is this, together with great client service, which underpins our market-leading performance.”
Notable deals achieved by Alder King’s Swindon office in 2012 included the freehold sales of the 300,000 sq ft Comet Building in Westbury and 41,499 sq ft Unit 1, Crusader Park, Warminster.
