Two local companies have chartered on the league table of the UK's fastest growing technology firms.
Telecoms service provider, Ubiquisys and communications service provider Solar Communications were ranked on the list at 12 and 50 respectively.
Swindon-based Ubiquisys has made it onto the league table for the first time. The company boosts mobile data services where telecoms operators have limited reach, including homes and airports, and its backers include Advent Venture Partners and Atlas Venture. Under chief executive Chris Gilbert, sales grew 152% a year, from £881,000 in 2008 to £14m in 2011.
Chippenham-based Solar Communications has attracted five of its largest 20 customers within the last year and has had an annual sales growth of 63% taking in £8.5m in sales.
